I am a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Maryland, and I am a member of UMIACS, the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies. I study fairness in machine learning with John Dickerson and Aravind Srinivasan. This summer, I participated in Research in Industrial Projects for Students (RIPS), co-sponsored by UCLA’s Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics (IPAM) and Google. We studied privacy in databases with query access.
